Filip Francke, the CEO of Ravensburger North America, Inc. & Global Head of Games, has made a career of successfully leading consumer businesses to drive growth and profitability through his expertise spanning marketing, sales, and product development. He is a decisive and inclusive leader who has consistently delivered double-digit growth across a variety of industries.
As CEO of Ravensburger North America, Inc. & Global Head of Games, Filip leads a portfolio of award-winning brands that promote playful development and celebrate classic fun at every stage and every age – including Ravensburger, BRIO, Wonder Forge and ThinkFun. In 2021, the Ravensburger family of brands will release more than 250 new games, puzzles and toys, building on the company’s 135-year legacy to deliver quality entertainment with compelling storylines fated to become timeless favorites for generations of families. Thomas Kaeppeler | President of Ravensburger North America, Inc.
Thomas Kaeppeler, President of Ravensburger North America, Inc., has dedicated his career to promoting playful development and celebrating classic fun. He grew up in Ravensburg, Germany, where Ravensburger is located and gained some early insights into the puzzles and boardgames manufacturing process by working in Ravensburger’s factory during his summer and winter breaks. After earning his degree in Economics from Universitaet Konstanz, he then started working at Ravensburger full time as a Market Research Analyst. In 2004 he became Export Manager, managing Ravensburger’s distributor business in North- and South America as well as Spain and Portugal. After Ravensburger established its own subsidiary in the US in 1998 he moved to the US to manage Ravensburger’s North America business and has now been the President for over 20 years. In 2019, he led Ravensburger to double-digit growth in puzzles, outperforming the overall category growth for the year. In 2021, the Ravensburger family of brands will release more than 250 new games, puzzles and toys, building on the company’s 135-year legacy to deliver quality entertainment with compelling storylines fated to become timeless favorites for generations of families.
